One project that reflects this commitment is the reconstruction of Shree Kanti Higher Secondary School in Parewadanda, Lamjung, following the devastating 2015 earthquake.
Investing in a Community’s Future
After the earthquake, many schools across Nepal were left damaged, making it difficult for children to continue their education safely.
With financial support from SIDARE and its supporters in Italy, Himalaya Sky Travel & Adventure proudly took on the role of local implementation partner. Under the leadership of our Director, Mr. Kabin, our team invested significant time, local expertise, staff resources, and on-the-ground coordination to help bring the project to life.
From working with local authorities and community members to managing logistics and overseeing progress, we remained actively involved throughout the reconstruction. For us, this was not simply a project it was an investment in the future of a community we have long been connected with.
