Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1400)
It’s a fantastic feeling to fly over the land of Nepal. You can see beautiful snow-covered mountains. After you land at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by our team at the arrivals and escort you to your hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu (B)
After having the early morning breakfast, you will move towards Kathmandu Durbar Square to tour around the Durbar Square. You will delight in the architectural wonder of the places like Hanuman Dhoka, KumariGhar, GaddiBaithak, Taleju Temple etc. Then you make your way towards the Swayambhunath temple from where you can see the mesmerizing view of the whole Kathmandu valley. After having the wonderful view of the Kathmandu valley, you will continue towards Patan city. There you will visit Patan Durbar Square which is known for Krishna Mandir, Golden Temple and Patan Museum. After observing the wonders of Patan you will be back to your hotel for the night.
Day 03: Fly to Pokhara and drive to Nayapul and rafting Modi Beni (B, L, D)
After breakfast you will proceed to airport to fly to Pokhara, which is 30mins’ flight. Then from Pokhara you will be driven to Nayapul which takes approximately 2 hrs. Nayapul is the starting point of this thrilling rafting. On arrival you will be briefed about the white river rafting and safety measures. Then you will begin paddling down the river that offers you a series of Class III and Class IV rapids. You can witness interesting rock formation on the canyon walls, hilltops village and different species of birds can be seen along the river.
Day 04: Rafting to Purtighat, drive to Pokhara (B, L, D)
Today’s trip begins with more Class III and class IV rapids and the rapids get milder compared to previous day as you progress down the river. As you paddle down the river you see the change in landscape, valleys become wider and you can even see the temples and small settlements along the bank of river. Going further down you encounter waterfalls and raft through the jungle corridor.
Day 05: Rafting to Mirmi (B, L, D)
Today you encounter small rapids and the paddling is quite easy compared to other days. Going down the river you meet confluence of two rivers, the Modi and Kali. After that the valley widens and great gorge is left behind, now you can see the farm lands. Here you stop for the lunch and it is also the end of this three days rafting journey. Then you will drive back to Pokhara through the different route enjoying the landscape, farmland and charming villages.
Day 06: Fly back to Kathmandu (B)
After breakfast you will fly back to Kathmandu and you are free for the day. Today you can visit different places of Kathmandu for shopping and sightseeing.
Day 07: Contingency Day (B)
Today is your contingency day in case of flight delay or cancellation. You can use this day as a free day and visit different places of Kathmandu for shopping and sightseeing.
Day 08: Final Departure (B)
This is your last day in Nepal. You will be taken to the airport for your flight back home.
