Overview
Changu Narayan Hiking is quite famous in Kathmandu Valley as it is the best escape route to breathe the fresh air and stretch your body walking through the beautiful jungle enjoying the mountain views. The hill, Changu Narayan, is name after the temple of lord Vishnu situated at the top of the hill. Along with the hikers, many Hindu pilgrims also visit Changu Narayan temple. Enlisted as a UNESCO World heritage site, the temple is the oldest temple in the Valley demonstrating the artistic and historical architecture of Nepal. Changu Narayan is the best hiking destination offering both cultural and natural experience with glorious views of Himalayas.

Day 01: Hiking in Changu Narayan (L)
After having breakfast, you will be picked by our guide from the hotel and driven for around 40 minutes from Kathmandu city to reach Sankhu, the starting point of the hike. And you will begin your mild trek through the pleasant jungle, enjoying the wilderness andthe traditional rural villages, until you reach the Changu Narayan hill top, where the ancient Changu Narayan temple is located. Since it is located at the hieght, it offers the magnificent view of the snowcapped mountains and beautiful landscape. After spending some time there you will hike back following the same trail and will be driven back to the hotel.
