Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu (1400m)
It’s a fantastic feeling to fly over the land of Nepal. You can see beautiful snow-covered mountains. After you land at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by our team at the arrivals and escort you to your hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour (B)
After having the early morning breakfast, you will move towards Kathmandu Durbar Square to tour around the Durbar Square. You will delight in the architectural wonder of the places like Hanuman Dhoka, Kumari Ghar, Gaddi Baithak, Taleju Temple etc. Then you make your way towards the Swayambhunath temple from where you can see the mesmerizing view of the whole Kathmandu valley. After having the wonderful view of the Kathmandu valley, you will continue towards Patan city. There you will visit Patan Durbar Square which is known for Krishna Mandir, Golden Temple and Patan Museum. After observing the wonders of Patan you will be back to your hotel for the night.
Day 03: Fly to Nepalgunj (150m) – 1 hr (B)
You will fly to Nepalgunj, a big town in the lowland of Nepal. After reaching Nepalgunj, you will be escorted to hotel. Rest of the day you explore the local market and surrounding.
Day 04: Fly to Juphal (2320m) – 25 mins & Trek to Dunai (2150m) – 3/4 hrs (B,L,D)
After having breakfast, you will fly to Juphal from where you will start your trek. You will walk through the local villages and fields to Bheri river. Trail passes by the bank of Bheri to reach Dunai village.
Day 05: Trek to Chhepka (2660m) – 5/6 hrs (B,L,D)
Today you will trek to Chhepka. The trail will take you Shey Phoksundo National Park. And then you will follow the trails of Suli Gad and then hike through the forest of pine, cypress and bamboo until you reach Chhepka.
Day 06: Trek to Amchi Hospital (3110m) – 5/6 hrs (B,L,D)
You will follow Phoksundo Khola on a narrow high path up to the valley. Then you will pass through the forest of bamboo and a gorge to cross the bridge of Phoksundo Khola. You will then reach Amchi Hospital.
Day 07: Trek to Ringmo Gaon (Phoksundo Lake) (3660m) – 3/4 hrs (B,L,D)
You will descend through birch forest and head towards the Upper part of Phoksundo Khola. You will then ascend to Ringmo village. The path is forest covered with lush vegetation of oaks, pines, junipers and cypress. Ringmo village is a famous settlement of Bon.
Day 8: Exploration Day
Today you will explore Shey Phoksundo Lake. Phoksundo Lake at 3589m is a beautiful turquoise color lake and the deepest lake of Nepal. You will explore the nearby village and go to visit Tshowa (Bon Monastery) which was built 900 years ago. Then you can across many beautiful glaciers above the lake.
Day 9: Trek to Chabluk Phu (Dharmasala) (3625m) – 5/6 hrs (B,L,D)
After exploring Phoksundo Lake you will follow the trail through the riverside of Phoksundo Kola where you get the mesmerizing view of Kanjirowa Himal (6612m) and then you move forward and reach to Chabluk Phu, a grazing area.
Day 10 Trek to Nagdalo La Base Camp (Pass Camp) (4717m) – 5/6 hrs (B,L,D)
Today you will walk through high rock on both sides and a couple of streams without bridges. Then you will cross the trail over the river with a suspension bridge. After continuing further, you will cross a canyon bridge and then walk to Nagdalo La Base Camp.
Day 11: Trek to Shey Gompa (4320m) – 6/7 hrs traverse Nagdalo La Pass (5350m) (B,L,D)
The trail goes ascending for the few hours to reach Nagdalo La Pass. Nagdalo La pass is a mystical place at Upper Dolpo, from here you will witness the views of Tibetan territory and sacred Crystal Mountain. The peaks Kanjirowa Himal (6612m), Kanchauni Lek (6444m), Phunphun Chuli (6102m), and Shey-Shikkar (6139m) look tremendous. Then you will walk down the hill from the pass to Shey Gompa.
Day 12: Exploration Day
Today is an exploration day or rest day. Shey Gompa is a popular monastery in Dolpo Region. From there you can see Crystal Mountain to the east of the monastery.You can walk around the village to see century old pre-Buddhist culture, the Bon-Po and Himalayan livelihood.
Day 13: Trek to Namgung (4430m) – 7/8 hrs traverse Sela La Pass (5095m) (B,L,D)
You will begin you trail along the bank of Sephu Khola and then on the left side of the river you will ascend for few hours to reach Sela La Pass. From this pass you will witness the inner beauty of Dolpo and scenery of the Tibeatan Plateau. Then you will have a zigzag path to Namgung village where you will see ancient Namgung Monastery.
Day 14: Trek to Saldang (4046m) – 3/4 hrs (B,L,D)
Today you will walk down to the scenic village, Saldang. It is a large village of the region, and also a trade route to Tibet. Your trail passes the Namga Khola and then cross the bridge, and after a short descent you will enter Saldang.
Day 15: Trek to Khomas Gaon (4100m) – 5/6 hrs (B,L,D)
You will continue the quite path that leads you to Khomas Gaon. The trail takes you to the broad landscape of barren hills, many villages and mains walls & painted chortens. Then you will cross some small streams and ascend up and descend down to reach Khomas Gaon.
Day 16: Trek to Mendo (4000m) – 4/5 hrs (B,L,D)
Your trek continues by descending the trail and then you will follow the river. After sometime you will ascend to the top of a ridge and ends at Mendo.
Day 17: Trek to Tinje (4110m) – 4/5 hrs (B,L,D)
The trail moves down the off-road across Panjyan Khola Gorge. Then you visit the ancient Pu Gompa and continue to trek. The trail gives you the spectacular sceneries and unique culture of Upper Dolpo. After a charming experience, you will reach Tinje.
Day 18: Trek to Rapka (4535m) – 6/7 hrs (B,L,D)
Today, leaving Tinje you will move to an old settlement Panjyan Khola and after walking to the river bank of Kehein Khola, you reach Rapka.
Day 19: Trek to Chharka Bhot (4110m) – 7/8 hrs traverse Mola La Pass (5030m) (B,L,D)
After walking slightly uphill to Mola La Pass, you reach the top of the pass. Then you go downhill on the side of gorge and go down to Chharka Bhot.
Day 20: Exploration Day
Today, you will have a free day or Exploration Day. You can explore the village and two gompas (Buddhist and Bonpo). Sarchhen Gompa in the center of the scattered village.
Day 21: Trek to Norbulung (4750m) – 5/6 hours (B,L,D)
Today, you will stream down to the bank of the river and then ascend to the trail to reach Norbulung. This trail is near to Annapurna region, so you will slightly see the mountains from Annapurna region.
Day 22: Trek to Sangda la (4860m) – 5/6 hours (B,L,D)
The trek will go uphill and enter to the final stage of the Dolpo region and then after some steps you will enter Kali Gandaki valley via Dhaulagiri region. At the bottom of Sangda la ends the trek.
Day 23: Trek to Sangda Phedi via Niwar Pass (5130 m) and Sangda La (5300 m) (B,L,D)
Today, you will cross two passes and it will be the challenging trek for the day. The path climbs up to Niwar Pass and then cross Sangda La pass and you will finally end at Sangda Phedi.
Day 24: Trek from to Lower Sangda (3710m) – 4/5 hours (B,L,D)
Then, trek goes downhill to pass through the small rivers all day. Then after, en-route you will witness more mountains through the Kali Gandaki valley.
Day 25: Trek to Phalyak (3175m) – 7/8 hrs (B,L,D)
Leaving Lower Sangda behind, you will trek to Phalyak. Through the trek, you will view the valley of Kali Gandaki river and witness the mesmerizing snow-covered peaks. Phalyak is a beautiful town with an annual archery festival in which most of the villages of Mustang and Manang take part.
Day 26: Trek to Jomsom (2724m) – 3/4 hours (B,L,D)
Today you will end the trek by reaching Jomsom. You will walk on the flat path along the riverbed to Jomsom and explore the surrounding.
Day 27: Fly to Pokhara(822m) & Fly to Kathmandu (1400m) – 1 hour (B,L)
You will have early morning flight to Pokhara. After 12 PM there won’t be any flight because of the wind. While flying, you can enjoy the view of mountains. Then after reaching Pokhara, you will fly back to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu you will be escorted towards hotel.
Day 28: Free Day (B)
Today is your contingency day in case of Jomsom or Pokhara flights delay or cancellation. You can use this day as a free day and visit different places of Kathmandu for shopping and sightseeing.
Day 29: Final Departure (B)
This is your last day in Nepal and your team will take you to the airport for your flight back home.
