Pikey Peak (4065m) is a less frequented trekking destination in Everest region. Trek to this beautiful mountain offers lovely spectacle of highland villages and incredible panoramic viewpoint with views of Mt Everest, Mt Numbur and Mt Lhotse. The trek begins at Phaplu and the trail will take you through the lush valleys, huge mani walls, beautiful vegetation and rhododendron forest along with the beautiful sunset and sunrise views. On the way you can also see Thupten Choling monastery, one of the most popular monasteries of the region. Along with tranquil landscapes and beautiful mountain views, the trek also offers you the opportunity to experience rich culture of Sherpa people.

Day 01: Arrival Kathmnadu (1400m)
It’s a fantastic feeling to fly over the land of Nepal. You can see beautiful snow-covered mountains. After you land at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by our team at the arrivals and escort you to your hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour (B)
After having the early morning breakfast, you will move towards Kathmandu Durbar Square to tour around the Durbar Square. You will delight in the architectural wonder of the places like Hanuman Dhoka, Kumari Ghar, Gaddi Baithak, Taleju Temple etc. Then you make your way towards Swayambhunath temple from where you can see the mesmerizing view of the whole Kathmandu valley. After having the wonderful view of the Kathmandu valley, you will continue towards Patan city. There you will visit Patan Durbar Square which is known for Krishna Mandir, Golden Temple and Patan Museum. After observing the wonders of Patan you will be back to your hotel for the night.
Day 03: fly to Phaplu (2475m) – 35 mins & Trek to Junbesi (2700) – 7 hrs (B,L,D)
You will take a flight to Phaplu which will give you the breathtaking views of mountains. Phaplu is famous for the local cheese and churpi. After an early morning flight, you will have lunch at Phaplu and start your trek to Junbesi. The trail passes through dense forest and streams to reach Junbesi. At Junbesi you can also visit Junbesi Tibetan Monastery.
Day 04: Trek to Lamjura (3500m) – 7 hrs (B,L,D)
Today you will trek to Lamjura. The trail is narrower and you will climb the forest of rhododendron and fir. You can observe the majestic mountain views of Numbur, Lhotse and Everest. The trail up to Bhulbhule is uphill and after some walk you will reach Lhajure.
Day 05: Trek to Pikey Peak (4065m) – 6 hrs& Trek to Pikey Peak Base Camp (3640m) (B,L,D)
This morning leaving Lamjura, you will trek to Pikey Peak. The trail is wider and it follows yak grazing pasture and many main walls. After a rough and zig-zag trail you will reach Pikey Peak. It is a majestic view point to see Everest, Thamserku, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Kantega, Numbur, Lhotse and others. After some wonderful moments on the peak, you will walk down to the base camp. On the way to the base camp, you can visit Yak Cheese Factory for some cheese tasting and exploration.
Day 06: Trek to Jhapre (2830m) – 7 hrs (B,L,D)
You will further descend down to Jhapre. The trek will go through the rough pass along rhododendron forest and small villages. You can observe the majestic mountain views of Numbur, Lhotse and Everest.
Day 07: Trek to Dhap (2928m) – 5 hrs (B,L,D)
Today is the last day of your trek. You will trek to Dhap. The trail follows a road under construction. After following the off-road trail, you will reach Dhap.
Day 08: Drive to Kathmandu (1400m) – 7 hrs (B,L,D)
After a long and mesmerizing trek, you will carry the memory of the trip and drive back to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu you will be escorted towards your hotel.
Day 09: Contingency Day
Today is your contingency day. You can use this day as a free day and visit different places of Kathmandu for shopping and sightseeing.
Day 10: Final Departure
This is your last day in Nepal and your team will take you to the airport for your flight back home.
