Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu (1400m)
It’s a fantastic feeling to fly over the land of Nepal. You can see beautiful snow-covered mountains. After you land at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by our team at the arrivals and escort you to your hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour (B)
After having the early morning breakfast, you will move towards Kathmandu Durbar Square to tour around the Durbar Square. You will delight in the architectural wonder of the places like Hanuman Dhoka, KumariGhar, GaddiBaithak, Taleju Temple etc. Then you make your way towards the Swayambhunath temple from where you can see the mesmerizing view of the whole Kathmandu valley. After having the wonderful view of the Kathmandu valley, you will continue towards Patan city. There you will visit Patan Durbar Square which is known for Krishna Mandir, Golden Temple and Patan Museum. After observing the wonders of Patan you will be back to your hotel for the night.
Day 03: Fly to Pokhara(822m) – 30 mins and drive to Kande(1700m) – 1 hour trek to Pothana (1900 m) – 4hrs (B, L, D)
After having the breakfast, you will be driven to Tribhuwan International airport to catch a flight to Pokhara which is about 30minutes. The flight offers you the bird eye view of the Himalayan range. Then you will be driven to Kande, from where you will begin the trek. You will trek to Australian Camp and descend to Pothana. It offers a wonderful view of Machhapuchhre.
Day 04: Trek to Forest camp (2600 m) – 5hrs (B,L,D)
Today, you will head off into the wilderness. You will pass through the enchanting forest of birch, rhododendron, oak, maple and hemlock enjoying the stunning view of the snowcapped mountains, and then you will reach Forest Camp, your destination for the day.
Day 05: Trek to Badal Danda (3210 m) – 5hrs (B,L,D)
Leaving the Forest Camp, you will walk into the forest full of rich flora. You get to see the mosses and lichen, tree ferns and orchids on the way. Through the natural windows in the wood you get to see the impressive view of Hiunchuli and Annapurna South. You will reach at Badal Danda in the afternoon. The place offers the spectacular northern views of the ever-closer Machhapuchhre.
Day 06: Trek to High Camp (3550m) – 4hrs (B,L,D)
You will begin walking through the jungle, which ends shortly opening into a ridge covered with grass or snow. Continuing on the path, you reach High Camp. It’s a short trek. You can enjoy the fantastic view of Annapurna South which seems at a stone’s throw away and Machhapuchhre close enough to touch. You stay overnight at High Camp.
Day 07: Trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4500m) and back to High Camp(3550m) – 8 hrs (B,L,D)
Today you will have breakfast and climb up to Mardi Himal Base camp and descend down to High Camp, so it’s a longer day compared to earlier days. If the weather is clear, you will hike up to 5000m, where only a crest of Mardi Himal separates you from the south face of Machhapuchhre. You get the breathtaking views of the great ice fields and blue glaciers of the Sanctuary Wall that lie below, panorama of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Ganesh Himal.
Day 08: Trek to Kalimati (1600m) – 5 hrs (B,L,D)
Today you will descend to Kalimati through the thick forest then into the farmlands to rich Mardi Khola, the river that originates from Mardi Himal. Continuing on the trail you will then pass through the remote and off beaten trail to army valley and into the small village of Kalimati.
Day 09: Trek to Lwang – 5 hrs (B,L,D)
You will follow the path from Siding, which gradually descends into river valley, then down between the pastures through the Tamang and Gurung villages. Finally you reach Lwang village and stay overnight at Lwang. Here you can explore the organic tea garden and taste some tea.
Day 10: Drive to Pokhara(822m) (B)
After breakfast, you will take an easy walk along an outcrop and back to the road, where you will meet your transfer vehicle. You will be driven back to Pokhara.
Day 11: Fly to Kathmandu(1400m) (B)
After delightful breakfast, you will bid farewell to Pokhara and fly back to Kathmandu enjoying the bird eye view of the Himalayan range. Rest of day is free for activities of your choice.
Day 12: Contingency Day (B)
Today is your contingency day in case of flight delay or cancellation. You can use this day as a free day and visit different places of Kathmandu for shopping and sightseeing.
Day 13: Final Departure (B)
This is your last day in Nepal. You will be taken to the airport for your flight back home.
